All About the Band....

  Mark Grillo

Mark started his adventure as a musician in his early teens playing drums in garage bands during his middle school years. At age 16, he picked up the guitar and quickly started laying down licks. Songwriting became a natural outflow of his creative energy. As a guitarist, he has performed and recorded in several bands and many venues across upstate New York.

  Burnie

Burnie started out in music playing bass at age 13. At 16, he switched to  guitar so he could write the songs he heard in his head. He has played in several local Top 40 and jazz bands over the years. Now with Maraba he plays tight, grooving acoustic rhythm to very cool covers and originals. Just listen, you'll like what you hear.

  Frank Minuto

Frank began playing professionally as a teenager. He has over 30 years experience in all styles of music, having worked and toured with some of the most well known groups in the Rochester and Buffalo areas. Bands like Cosco, Gladstone and Cosco, The Smokin' Ho Ho's, The Woody's, Miche, Mic Fambro & Big Electric and Big Eye Fish have all had Frank on percussion.

Mick Savino

Mick started playing bass at age 14 and by 16 he was playing out regularly. He worked in Central and Western New York with "The Blue Lights", "Streetwise" and others in his 30+ years playing bass. Along the way he discovered that contemporary jazz is his passion. Mick brings a wealth of experience and stage presence to Maraba's unique smooth jazz sound and perfomances
